Get involved

There’s more than one way to help. Some people give money, some give time, some give skills, and some simply tell a friend.

Project Peace Ltd is a registered charity that helps people prevent anxiety and depression when they face job loss or a major unplanned career change. This page is for anyone who wants to be part of that.

01

Donate

Money should never stop someone getting support when they lose their job. Donations fund free places in our 8-week program for people with no employer support.

Project Peace is a registered charity with the ACNC. Donations are not currently tax-deductible.

02

Host a community session

Project Peace plans free online community sessions on staying well through job loss and career change. If you’d like to host a local session in your community, we’ll support you with the materials and the support information every session must share.

You don’t need to be a trained facilitator. You need to care about the work and be willing to show up. Hosts follow our volunteer and safeguarding policy.

03

Open a chapter

Opening a Project Peace chapter means bringing our free prevention program and community sessions to your city: regular sessions, local partners, and people trained to run them under Project Peace’s name and policies.

We’re selective, because chapters carry the name and standards of Project Peace.

04

Volunteer your skills

Project Peace runs on a small core team and a lot of goodwill. If you have skills in social media, design, translation, technology, writing, or facilitation, there’s likely a place for you. We’re not looking for people to fill roles on an org chart. We’re looking for people who connect with the mission and want to contribute something real, on terms that work for them.

Tell us what you do well and what you’d like to offer. We’ll take it from there. Volunteers follow our volunteer and safeguarding policy.

05

Spread the word

The simplest way to help. Share a Project Peace post, or tell someone facing job loss that our program is free. Most people find support because someone they trust mentions it at the right moment.
